Borrello Beef is seeking a MC livestock truck driver to join our team based in Gingin, WA.

This is a long-term role, offering wages of over $120,000pa. As an experienced livestock driver you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of livestock to Gingin and various other locations.

What you’ll be doing

• Safely operating livestock transport vehicles, including MC class trucks

• Loading, unloading and securing livestock in compliance with animal welfare regulations

• Maintaining detailed trip logs and documentation

• Performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle roadworthiness

• Adhering to all relevant road rules, safety procedures and company policies

What we’re looking for

• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Livestock MC Driver

• Current MC drivers licence and a proven safe driving record

• 6 deck experience preferable

• Knowledge of livestock handling and transport regulations

• Current commercial drivers medical

• Current fatigue management

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Ability to work away for extended periods of time

• Commitment to safety and animal welfare

Borrello Beef is seeking experienced slaughterers to join our team based in Gingin, WA. These are long-term roles, offering wages of over $120,000pa. These positions offer an immediate start, and great long-term opportunities on the beef slaughter floor.

You will be required to carry out various tasks including but not limited to:

• Humane Slaughter: Ensuring the beef are stunned and killed in a humane manner, following industry standards and regulations.

• Slaughter process: Performing tasks such as bleeding, skinning, and removing internal organs.

• Carcass Preparation: Preparing the carcass for further processing, including splitting, quartering, and de-boning.

• Meat Processing: Assisting with the cleaning and trimming of the meat.

• Equipment Operation: Operating and maintaining specialised equipment used in the slaughter and processing of beef.

• Safety: Following strict safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment. 

As well as being capable of the above all applicants will also need to meet the following to be considered for these roles.

• Have previous experience in various aspects of abattoir work, in particular legging

• Have your own reliable transport

• Be able to start at 5.30am and work full time hours

• Be physically fit as work is labour intensive

• Be willing to travel to Gingin or live locally, we may be able to assist with accommodation

Borrello Beef, a family owned meat wholesale business, are seeking a HC truck driver to join our team to driver between Gingin (45 minutes north of CBD) and Perth metropolitan area, Western Australia between Monday and Friday.

What we’re looking for

• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Livestock HC Driver

• Current HC driver’s licence and a proven safe driving record

• Current commercial drivers medical

• Current fatigue management

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Be capable of manual handling and be physically fit

• Be able to start early (from 1am, generally finish by 10am)
